Over the years Bali, a small jewel renowned for its beauty and artistry, has become a vacation paradise for thousands of tourists. The island has become more and more popular and its two main beaches Kuta and Sanur have become the victims of their own success. They no longer represent the traditional Bali and have become saturated. The interior of Bali, by contrast, still remains on the whole unspoiled and traditional and allows visitors to observe a life where time stood still. It is here where the real life of Bali still flourishes.

The hotel is completely secluded and is on three sides surrounded by Balinese family compounds and on the fourth side by a small river. All around the property are bamboo coves and tropical trees assuring complete privacy

Because of Tiing Gading's central and strategic location, most popular and interesting tourist sites can be reached easily within a short drive. One can go almost everywhere on the island and be back in the afternoon for a refreshing swim in the pool. One may decide the same evening to go to one of the exquisite dance performances held every night at temples within easy walking reach.

Tiing Gading is not a place where one is given a room key at arrival and ignored until departure. It is the aim of the owners to try to impart some of the mystique, the spirituality and traditions of this beautiful island. The staff is available at all times to supply information and plan itineraries for our guests.

Local transport is fun, inexpensive and allows tourists to reach the most remote areas. Motor bikes and regular bikes can be rented at very reasonable prices.  Note that an international license is required.
